The Washington Post is reporting that Congressional representatives are demanding answers about why ConAgra and the USDA moved so slowly in launching last week's recall of 19 million pounds of beef. Some of that beef was produced as early as mid-April, and legislators want to know what caused more than two months of delay before the recall was announced.
